Arndorf (Otzing)
Arndorf is a district of the municipality of Otzing in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf .

Arndorf is located in the Gäuboden about a kilometer northwest of Otzing near the federal motorway 92 .
history
The area around is old settled land, in Arndorf a small chert arrowhead from the Neolithic Age was found. The place is mentioned in the second Herzogsurbar (before 1300) as Aenndorf and later formed a chairman in the Otzing office of the Natternberg court . In 1752 Arndorf consisted of eleven properties.
With the formation of the tax districts 1808/1811 Arndorf came to the tax district Otzing II. Section Haunersdorf and with the formation of the communities 1818/1821 to the community Haunersdorf . Arndorf remained with this until the incorporation of the Haunersdorf community into the Otzing community in 1978.
Attractions
- Filial church of St. Peter and Paul. It is of Romanesque origin, was expanded in the late Gothic period and redesigned in the Baroque style in the 18th century.
