Martin Luther House (Küppersteg)

The Martin Luther House is a Protestant church in the Leverkusen district of Küppersteg . It belongs to the community of Leverkusen-Küppersteg-Bürrig in the Evangelical Church District of Leverkusen .

history

Although the prerequisite for the establishment of a separate church for the Protestant Christians in Küppersteg had existed for decades, the Martin Luther House could not be built until 1950. The community center with kindergarten and the youth center are attached to the church. The building, which was previously used as an old people's home, was converted into senior citizens' apartments for the disabled in 1997 (senior center on Stresemannplatz).
