Martin Ferguson

Martin Ferguson (born December 12, 1953 ) is an Australian politician .

Life

His father was the Australian politician Jack Ferguson . Ferguson studied at the University of Sydney after finishing school . Ferguson has been a member of the Australian Parliament since 1996 . He is a member of the Australian Labor Party . Since December 2007, Ferguson has served as Minister for Resources and Energy and Minister for Tourism in Australia in the cabinet of Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard .
