Anja Brünglinghaus

Anja Brünglinghaus (* 1963 in Bochum ) is a German actress .

Life

She studied at the School for Drama Hamburg and the Drama Academy Zurich .

She began her first engagement in 1987 at the Schauspielhaus Zürich under the direction of Gerd Heinz. In 1994 she moved to the Dresden Schauspielhaus , where she was a permanent member of the ensemble for eleven years.

During this time there were major roles as Countess Terzky in Wallenstein by Friedrich Schiller (director: Hasko Weber ), as "Blanche" in Endstation Sehnsucht , as Countess Orsina in Emilia Galotti and in the leading role in "Die Wirtin" by Peter Turrini in the production by Michael Thalheimer .

In 2005 she moved to the Staatstheater Stuttgart under the direction of Hasko Weber . As a general in Chekhov's Platonov (director: Karin Henkel ) she was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen . In various roles in plays by Elfriede Jelinek , Botho Strauss , Yasmina Reza (as Veronique Houillet in Der Gott des Gemetzels ), Werner Schwab and Sibylle Berg (premiere: the main thing is work ), she shows her broad acting skills, always focusing on Authenticity of their characters stands.

At the Hersfeld Festival she was seen as Goneril in Shakespeare's King Lear and received the Hersfeld Prize for it .

At the beginning of the 2016/2017 season, she will move to the Mainfrankentheater Würzburg under the new management of Markus Trabusch .
