Martin Högl

Martin Högl is a scientist in the field of business administration. He is director of the Institute for Leadership and Organization at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .

Life

After completing an MBA at Washington State University , Martin Högl completed his doctorate in 1998 at the University of Karlsruhe under Hans Georg Gemünden with a thesis on teamwork in innovative projects . Högl completed his habilitation at the TU Berlin . He is the director of the Institute for Management and Organization at LMU Munich. Before moving to LMU, Professor Högl taught at Washington State University (USA), Università Bocconi (Milan, Italy) and WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management . He was also visiting professor at the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern Univ., USA) and at the Sun Yat-sen National University (Taiwan). He is an Affiliated Faculty Member of the WHU Center for Responsible Leadership.

Högl has published in well-known specialist journals, including the Academy of Management Journal , Journal of Management , Organization Science , Research Policy and Human Resource Management .

In the Handelsblatt Betriebswirte Ranking 2009 for researchers under 40 years of age, which analyzed the research performance of 2100 German-speaking business economists since 2005, it reached second place.
