Martin Hotton

Martin Hotton (* 1946 ) is an English composer, conductor, percussionist, organist and music teacher.

Hotton studied at the Royal College of Music until 1968 , then at the University of Reading . He taught at various public and private schools, worked as a classical percussionist, organist and conductor. From 1980 to 1986 he directed the York Symphony Orchestra . As a composer, he has mainly emerged with church music and works for percussion instruments.
