Martin Lachkovics

Martin Lachkovics (born January 25, 1975 in Vienna ) is an Austrian athlete and bobsleigh athlete .

In his career so far he has won 44 national championship titles and was an Olympic athlete in 1996 and 2000. In 1999 he became military runner-up in the 100-meter run . Lachkovics has been a member of the Austrian bobsleigh association and pusher in Wolfgang Stampfer's team since 2006 . The Dipl.-Ing. of Medical Informatics and Mag. (Computer Science Management) with participation in the Olympic Games 2010 in Vancouverachieved another goal of his sporting career. His greatest successes in bobsleigh were the two fourth places in the two-man and four-man bobsleigh at the 2010 European championship, three third places in world cup races during the 2006 to 2010 seasons, and sixth place in the two-man bobsleigh at the 2007 world championship.
