Martin Maria Kohtes

Martin Maria Kohtes (* 1961 ) is a German communication and theater scholar .

Life

Kohtes studied in Berlin, New York and Paris and taught at the University of Cologne , among others .

He has emerged primarily with publications on the theory and history of political theater. Kohtes wrote two fundamental studies, a standard work on political theater in the USA ( guerrilla theater ) and a history and aesthetics of the invisible theater , a political action art . From his study he derives a new definition of theater: "A impersonates B while being perceived in this quality by C".

He also wrote a textbook on written communication in which he presents a consistently target and target-oriented method for writing factual texts.

He works as a ghostwriter , editor and trainer .
