Martin Wansleben
Martin Wansleben (born August 9, 1958 in Cologne ) has been Managing Director of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) since 2001 .
Life
Martin Wansleben studied economics from 1977 to 1982 at the Universities of Bonn and Cologne . After completing his studies, he held various positions at the Association of German Mechanical and Plant Engineering eV (VDMA) in Frankfurt, most recently as managing director. At the same time, he completed his doctorate at the University of Tübingen in 1986 on the subject of “Productivity-oriented wage policy”, with a Dr. rer. pole. Since November 2001 he has been chief executive officer of the DIHK.
