Career

Martina Šalek started her career with the ŽNK Podravac . In summer 2009 she left the club from Virje and switched to the C-youth of the ŽNK Osijek . After a season in Osijek Youth C, she moved up to the Osijek first team at the age of 16 and made her UEFA Women's Champions League debut on August 5, 2010 against WFC Rossiyanka .

National team

Šalek is a national player for Croatia . She made her A international debut at the age of 16 against Serbia on May 9, 2010 . Before that, she had already played six international matches for the U-17 and twelve for the U-19 national team of Croatia.
