Martina Sanollová (born June 13, 1963 in Břeclav ) is a Czech singer and pianist, member of the avant-garde bands Skrol and Zygote. She is also a copywriter and translator (she translated, for example, the book “Der Konsument” by singer Michael Gira , the founder of the band Swans ) and organizer of the progressive music genre.

She works as a teacher for Czech, German, English and music. In addition to membership in these formations, she participates in albums by the band Aghiatrias and in solo albums by the composer Vladimír Hirsch , who is also the leader of these formations. Her career as a singer began in 1994 in the post-punk band (Der) Marabu.

Her dramatic and expressive, exalted voice, use of different singing techniques and sound effects are typical for her. In the 1990s she created her own performance project called Violenta Projecta .

Together with the other member of Aghiatrias, Tom Saivon, she has been working for the Ars Morta Universum event company , which she co-founded, for more than a decade . This organizes the Pražský industriální festival (Prague Industrial Festival), which is dedicated to concerts by foreign formations of progressive music and multimedia.
