The Maruti Gypsy was a four-wheel drive vehicle made by Maruti based on the Suzuki SJ . In Europe, it can be seen on the streets in Malta and Hungary , otherwise in most developing and emerging countries, among others. a. in the manufacturing country India , Chile or Kenya etc.

The Maruti was also offered as a convertible and as a four-door model, which Suzuki also has in its range outside of Germany.

  • Weight: 1600 kg
  • Torque: 103 Nm at 4500 rpm
  • Petrol tank holds 40 liters

The Maruti Gypsy was available in the three versions "Soft Top" ( convertible ), "Hardtop" (with roof) and as an ambulance. It was also made in a military version for the Indian army .

In 2019, production was discontinued after 33 years, as the outdated model no longer met modern safety regulations.
