Masahiko Kumagai ( Japanese 熊 谷 雅 彦 , Kumagai Masahiko ; born November 23, 1975 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Kumagai learned to play soccer on the school team of Fujisawa Nishi High School and the university team of Chūō University . He signed his first contract in 1998 with the Kashiwa Reysol . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1999 he won the J.League Cup with the club . He then played with the Sagawa Express Tokyo (2000-2005) and Roasso Kumamoto (2005-2008). At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
