Masako Sakamoto
Masako Sakamoto ( Japanese 阪 本 雅子 , Sakamoto Masako ; born October 10, 1972 in Kumamoto Prefecture ) is a Japanese badminton player .
Career
Masako Sakamoto took part in the 1996 women's doubles at the Olympics. She lost in round two together with Tomomi Matsuo and was 9th in the final score. In 1994 and 1995 both were Japanese champions in doubles. Sakamoto first attracted attention in 1990 when she won the German International Junior Championships in doubles with Mayumi Watanabe .
