Masataka Nishimoto ( Japanese 西 本 雅 崇 , Nishimoto Masataka ; born June 11, 1996 in Yao , Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Masataka Nishimoto learned to play football in the youth team of Cerezo Osaka . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2015. The club from Osaka , a city in Osaka prefecture , played in the second highest Japanese league, the J2 League . The club's U23 team has played in the third division, the J3 League , since 2016 . In 2016 he finished fourth with the club in the J2 table and rose to the first division. In 2017 he won the J. League Cup and the Emperor's Cup with Osaka . He won the Japanese Supercup in 2018.
