The Japanese Football Supercup , ( 富士 ゼ ロ ッ ク ス ス ー パ ー カ ッ プ Fuji zerokkusu sūpā kappu ), also Fuji Xerox Supercup , is a trophy of the Japan Football Association . The trophy was awarded for the first time in 1994 and under the name Xerox Supercup until Fujitsu participated in 2008 . It has had its current name since 2009. It goes annually to the winner of the game between the champion of the Japanese J. League and the winner of the Imperial Cup . It is comparable to the German DFL Supercup .
