Mechanical ventilation
With mechanical or mechanical ventilation , the ventilation is driven by a flow machine . In the technical literature on building technology , a distinction is made between air conditioning devices and air conditioning systems. As a rule, room heat exchangers and room material exchangers are defined as devices that are ready to plug in. Ventilation systems , on the other hand, include all ventilation , partial air conditioning and air conditioning systems .
Important parameters for dimensioning are:
- Volume flow ( delivery rate ) (m³ / h)
- Air exchange rate ( minimum air exchange )
- Air speed (m / s) depending on the sound emission
- Designed for the medium and / or explosive atmosphere
Overpressure ventilation is a special technique .
