The Sllovi massacre is an event in which 31 Albanian civilians were murdered by Serbs on April 15, 1999 in Sllovi near Lipjan in Kosovo .

Happenings

A Serbian terrorist unit attacked the village of Sllovi on April 15, 1999. 31 were murdered, 11 seriously injured and a further 13 arrested or have since disappeared and were very likely murdered as well. Only Albanian civilians were among the victims.

At the same time, ethnic cleansing operations by the Serbs were taking place in other surrounding villages. Two Albanians were executed in the village of Zhegoc , an Albanian girl was killed in Terbufc , and another girl and an elderly man were injured.

During the actions of the Serbian militias, the villages around Lipjan were badly devastated. Over 1,700 houses were burned down and looted.
