Massimo Mazzucco (born July 20, 1954 in Turin ) is an Italian film director and screenwriter .

Life

Mazzucco began his professional career as a fashion photographer and studied television directing in the USA from 1979 . There he also made his movie debut, Summertime . Six years later, the impressive father-son drama Romance was created, with a remarkable Walter Chiari in one of the leading roles. In Obiettivo indiscreto , a less exciting work, Mazzucco dealt with the fashion world known to him from his early years. After a television movie and the dramatic comedy Aaron Gillespie Will Make You a Star , Mazzucco turned to DVD documentaries in the new millennium. Mazzucco also wrote the script for all of his films.

Mazzucco caused a stir in 2008 with the publication of a controversial new cancer therapy on his website Luogocomune.net, on which he has also addressed conspiracy theories since 2003 .
