Mater Dolorosa Cemetery
The Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Bytom ( Bytom OS) is a listed historic Catholic cemetery . The cemetery complex was laid out in the 19th century. It is on Piekarska Street.
History and description
The first section of the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery was laid out in 1876. In 1882 a neo-Gothic cemetery chapel was built according to the plans of the architect Hugo Heer . In 1987 the facility was placed under monument protection.

- Richard Gillar (1855–1939), German church musician and organist
- Alfred Stephan (1884–1924), German lawyer and politician, Lord Mayor of Beuthen
