Matthäus Landauer (* 1451; † January 7, 1515) was a wealthy Nuremberg merchant who was active in the Saiger trade .

In his time, in addition to his wealth, he also achieved a high reputation as the founder of a house of twelve brothers. The Landau Twelve Brothers House was a monastery-like asylum for twelve old Nuremberg craftsmen who were in need through no fault of their own. His grave is in the Landauerkapelle , the house chapel of the Landau Twelve Brothers House.
