Mauerwerk (subtitle: European Journal of Masonry ) is the only specialist journal in the field of masonry construction that was founded in 1997 under the title das mauerwerk and is published by Ernst & Sohn. Since 2015, Mauerwerk has published bilingual German and English. Around 40 articles and reports from research, projects, prenormative work, European standardization and technical regulations as well as building inspectorate approvals and new developments appear annually in six issues. Wolfram Jäger ( TU Dresden ) headed the editorial team from January 2009 to August 2019 - he was followed by Dirk Jesse.
