Maurice Spector

Maurice Spector ( 1898 - August 1, 1968 ) was a Canadian communist politician .

Spector, chairman of the Communist Party of Canada in the 1920s, was an early supporter of Trotsky after his break with the Communist International . He was one of the founders of the Canadian Trotskyist Movement and from 1938-1939 a member of the Canadian Socialist Labor Party.
