Maurizio Liverani

Maurizio Liverani (born November 27, 1928 in Rome ) is an Italian film journalist, director and screenwriter .

Liverani, nephew of the politician of the Republic of Salò Augusto Liverani , was an activist of the KPI in the resistance and began as a journalist in 1952 for the Paese Sera , where he soon specialized in film criticism. Later he became head of the magazine "Il Dramma". In 1969 he directed the satirical and irreverent Sai cosa faceva Stalin alle donne? about communism . His second film, the costume film Il solco di pesca , adhered to the conventions of erotic film and was quickly forgotten.
