Max Imdahl Scholarship

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Max Imdahl grant for art education from the North Rhine-Westphalia Foundation for Nature Conservation, Homeland and Cultural Care was first advertised in German-speaking countries in 1993. After three awards, it was transferred to the "Schöppinger Forum of Art Education" , which has been organizing conferences and projects since then and is in charge of the "Archive for Art Education Max Imdahl".

Goal setting

This two-year scholarship is intended to promote innovative methods and forms of art mediation which, in the spirit of the founder Max Imdahl, enable broad sections of the population to have access to art ("culture for everyone"). Such a scholarship also offered the opportunity to scientifically reflect on the practice of art education and to make it accessible through a publication.
