Maxim Rysanov (* 1978 in Kramatorsk ) is a Ukrainian violist and conductor who lives in England.

biography

Rysanov attended the Moscow Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Maria Il'nitschna Sitkovskaja. He later studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with John Glickman.

Prices

Rysanov won the 1995 Bucci competition in Rome and the GSMD competition in London in 2000; He is a prizewinner at the youth music competition in Volgograd in 1995, at the Haverhill competition in 1999 and at the Lionel Tertis viola competition in 2003 and at the CIEM competition in Geneva in 2004.
