MAXIMA Bulgaria is a subsidiary of the Lithuanian Holding UAB " Maxima grupė ", a Bulgarian retailer . In 2012 the company achieved a turnover of 214 million litas (excluding VAT). In 2018 there were 50 branches of the T-Market brand in Bulgaria.

In 2005 the first activities of Maxima grupė took place . The subsidiary "Maxima Bulgaria" was later founded to expand the Maxima chain in Bulgaria. In 2008 a turnover of 193 million Litas excluding VAT was achieved (2009: 214 million Litas ). In 2011 the company had 1,101 employees (2008: ~ 1008 employees).
