Maximilian "Maxi" Pongratz (* 1987 ) is a German musician from Oberammergau . He is the singer, songwriter and accordion player in the band Kofelgschroa .

Life

In 2007 Maxi Pongratz founded the band Kofelgschroa with the brothers Michael von Mücke and Martin von Mücke and the tenor horn player Matthias Meichelböck . The band, which has its origins in traditional folk music, has been under contract with the Munich indie label Trikont since 2010 . She released three albums there by 2016.

From 2015 to 2019 Maxi Pongratz organized concerts in the Hotel Kovèl together with the other band members.

In 2018 the band announced that they wanted to take a break. The following year Maxi Pongratz released his first solo album.
