Mbudya is an uninhabited island in the East African state of Tanzania , located 11 kilometers north of the capital Dar es Salaam , about three kilometers east of the coastal town of Kunduchi and two kilometers northeast of the also uninhabited island of Pangavini .
The wedge-shaped, densely forested island is one of the four islands of the Dar es Salaam National Park (DMRS).
