The McGill University Health Center (MUHC; French Center universitaire de santé McGill , CUSM) is a network of general hospitals and teaching hospitals in the Canadian city of Montreal , which are connected to McGill University there.
The network, founded in 1997, includes six hospitals:
- Montreal General Hospital
- Royal Victoria Hospital
- Montreal Children's Hospital
- Montreal Neurological Institute
- Montreal Chest Institute
- Hospital de Lachine
The hospitals that make up the MUHC have around 11,500 employees. The MUHC's medical research institute is the largest of its kind in Canada.
