Mechouia

The Mechouia Salad ( Arabic سلاطة مشوية, DMG Salāṭa Mašwiyya , literally: grilled salad) is a Tunisian salad made from grilled vegetables, typically peppers and tomatoes . After cooling, the vegetables are chopped up and seasoned with olive oil , lemon juice, garlic (if not already grilled), salt and pepper. Boiled eggs, tuna, and capers are common ingredients.
