Media-neutral data storage

Media-neutral data storage is a term from media technology that describes the media- independent storage of documents. The same data is used as a template for different data formats and media channels ( cross media ) to be output .

use

In content management systems , the pages are usually only generated from the available data on request. Media- neutral data is also used for cross media publishing , in which it is reused for a wide variety of media. Texts, images or other content are provided as needed for print media and various electronic media such as online services.
