Medina mosque

The Medina Mosque ( English Medina Mosque ) or Madina Masjid is located on Wolseley Road in the English city ​​of Sheffield . After some problems with the financing, construction started in September 2004; the project was finally completed in October 2006. The users of the mosque raised several million pounds through voluntary donations to finance the mosque and the Islamic Center, which comprises 19 rooms, two large halls, a library and a day care center. The cost is estimated at five million pounds. The mosque can accommodate up to 2300 people.

The mosque is run by the Sufi Barelvi movement.
