medical genetics is a journal for human genetics . It is published by the German Society for Human Genetics (GfH). It is the official organ of the GfH, the Austrian Society for Human Genetics (ÖGH), the Swiss Society for Medical Genetics (SGMG) and the Professional Association of German Human Genetics (BVDH). It has been published quarterly since 1989, initially by Medical Genetics, and now by Springer Medizin Verlag Heidelberg. Their circulation is 1,400 copies.
