Megamoto is a word created by the marketing departments of BMW and KTM for high-performance supermotos .
Originally, Megamoto was a planned racing series for powerful supermoto with two to three cylinders and up to 1,250 cm³ displacement, the future of which, however, is still unclear. A BMW motorcycle model was later given the type designation HP2 Megamoto .
