The Meinhart Kabel GmbH is an international company founded in 1978 in Austria . The company, based in Sankt Florian near Linz in Upper Austria, is Austria's largest cable retailer. The cables are produced by contract partners. In 2011 sales were € 180 million and in 2012 € 175 million. With 270 employees, including around 150 at the headquarters, the company generated sales of around 160 million euros in 2014. For 2015, company acquisitions are expected to increase sales to 200 million euros. Meinhart has additional locations in Cluj-Napoca ( Romania ) and Budapest ( Hungary ).
