text

Brothers, sing
our fatherland song with a loud clang of joy ,
That
echo from mountain to mountain Announces our heart's urge.
Sachsen-Meininger, that's our name
and let's stay loyal.
Biederer sense and harmony prevail here
And always young and new.

Our colors are called white and green,
Are an expensive pledge to us,
Our hearts beat hot and bold
By the name of fatherland!
Dear land, where our cradle was,
O how happy we are yours!
Let us love you
forever and be loyal to you forever!

Resound mightily over the valley and the Höhn
our song of the fatherland!
Our people are good, the land is beautiful
and their names have a bright ring.
To him we belong, so we
all swear with heart and mouth and hand
loyal to our duke, loyal to the banner,
high our fatherland!
