Master of the cypress
As a master of cypress one will illuminators from Spain referred to the early 15th century. The artist, not known by name, illuminated twenty preserved choir books from the Cathedral of Seville . The master of the cypresses is also said to be the painter of murals in the monastery of San Isidoro del Campo in Santiponce near Seville, which are stylistically very close to the master's miniatures.
