Master of the Byzantine Madonna

The master of the Byzantine Madonna was perhaps in Leipzig -based painter from around 1510/20.

His work was compiled in a style-critical way. A concrete historical name could not be assigned to this day. Customers of his workshop were professors from the University of Leipzig and the court of the bishop of Merseburg, especially Adolf von Anhalt .
