As a champion with the grasshopper an agent working in Austria, especially not known is gunsmith and Büchsenschäfter referred. He worked until 1650 and created decorations on the handles and butts of firearms, for example inlays made of ivory. Since a grasshopper can be found almost as a trademark under his flower and figure decorations , this master, who is not known by name, was given his emergency name .
