Master from 1477
A late Gothic painter who is not known by name and who worked in Augsburg in the second half of the 15th century is referred to as the master of 1477 . He received his emergency name after a year on one of his pictures. Like Thoman Burgkmair (1444–1523), he is said to have had an influence on other painters of the Augsburg late Gothic period.
