Master of Paul and Barnabas
The Master of Paulus and Barnabas was a painter of religious motifs who worked in Antwerp , the southern Netherlands , in the first half of the 16th century .
His painting style is reminiscent of Pieter Aertsen (1507/08 - 1575). He is associated with the Antwerp painter Jan Mandijn (approx. 1500–1559). The attribution of his works is difficult and uncertain.
