Mejer Moissejewitsch Furschtschik

Mejer Moissejewitsch Furschtschik ( Russian Меер Моисеевич Фурщик ; * 1886 in Brazlaw ; † August 22, 1944 ) was a Soviet philosopher.

Furschtschik was a full member of the Institute of the Red Professorship . In 1930 he took part in the campaign against the leading Deborin group. Later he got caught up in the Stalin purges . Furschtschik was arrested on December 9, 1937, and sentenced on September 14, 1938 to ten years in a camp, which he did not survive.
