The Quaver Nunatak is a small and around 250 m high nunatak on the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It rises as the northernmost elevation of the Walton Mountains .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1977 based on the naming of numerous objects in the area that bear the names of various composers, and because of its small size after the eighth note ( English quaver ).
