The Mel Puttah Bemoh originated in India around the 17th century.

description

The Mel Puttah Bemoh has a straight, double-edged rapier blade without a hollow path (incorrectly blood channel ), which is about 80 cm long. The total length is about 137 cm. The hilt (handle) is made of metal and has two parries. The rear cross- guard is cross-shaped, slightly curved upwards and rounded at the ends. The front parrying disc is smooth. The pommel is similar to a three-step crown. It is often decorated with fringes made of silk at the end of the handle.
