Melba JT Vasquez

Melba Jean Trinidad Vasquez (also: Melba Vasquez ; born February 27, 1951 ) is an American psychologist .

Live and act

Vasquez was a middle school teacher of English and Politics before studying psychology and receiving his PhD from the University of Texas , Austin in 1978 .

She worked for thirteen years at counseling centers for psychology at Colorado State University in Boulder and the University of Texas in Austin, among other things as junior professor and training director.

For 2011 she was elected President of the American Psychological Association (APA). Vasquez is a freelance psychologist based in Austin, Textas.
