Mellu (also: Melu , Meru-tō , Mullu ) is a motu of the Rongelap Atoll of the Pacific republic of the Marshall Islands .

Mellu is on an eastern arm of the atoll. It is only separated from the nearest island in the east by an approximately 300 m wide canal: Bokoen . The island is particularly narrow. To the west, after the Northeast Pass (Hokuto), there are a number of islands with Gogan . The island is uninhabited and has been contaminated with nuclear power since the Bravo bomb was tested for nuclear weapons .
