Menhir of Caolas
The menhir of Caolas ( English standing stone ) stands in uneven terrain, about 800 m southwest of the hamlet of Caolas, 200 m southeast of the road B8069 in the east of the Hebridean island of Tiree in Argyll and Bute in Scotland .
The cuboid menhir is inclined at a strong angle to the northwest. It measures 0.85 m by 0.65 m at the base and would reach a height of 2.85 m when erected.
