The menhir ( Engl. Standing Stone) of Midshiels farm is in the north of the eponymous Farm in Hawick in the Scottish Borders in Scotland in the field next to the road leading to the farm.

The phallic stone has a height of about 2.10 m at the base and a similar circumference. It has almost right-angled corners and tapers slightly towards the tip. About 90 m to the southwest are the remains of a cairn ( location ).

The stone is similar in size and shape to the Warrior's Rest menhir , which is also associated with Cairns. Like the Glebe Stone, the stone is a classic menhir and not an inscribed gravestone like the Yarrow Stone .
