text

1.
People who were lost, come to life,
rejoice!
Today the Son of God is born,
today he became equal to men.
    Let us bow down before him;
our thanks shall ring out to him:
“Glory to God, glory to God,
glory to God in the highest!”

2. (5.)
What wonders, rich in blessings
, this mystery presents to us!
See, he cannot move himself
through whom everything is and was.
Let us bow down before him ...

3. (8.)
Even the source of all gifts
suffers from such poverty!
What love must he have who
so completely dedicated himself to you!
Let's bow down before him ...

4. (9th)
people! Love, love him again
and never forget love!
Sing thanks songs with devotion
and trust, he hears them!
Let's bow down before him ...
